1. A quality product that works as advertised
Since receiving this product five days ago, I've put the pen thru its paces and with the exception of one issue (see below), everything works as advertised.

PROs:
- This is a very nice feeling pen
- It's a little bigger (as in thickness) than the pens I'm normally used to but not to the point of feeling awkward in the hand.
- The picture quality is good considering the size of the pen and believe is great considering the cost and size of the pen
- The video is a little hazier than I would have liked but still considering everything is very good
- The audio was clear and didn't have any problems understanding conversations

CONs:
- My biggest complaint is the instructions on how to set the time and date (#7) were very confusing and I haven't been able to get it changed so far. This is the ONLY reason I didn't give the pen a rating of 5. If I'm able to figure this issue out and actually be able to make the changes I will...

2. Best Spy Camera - No other comes even close!
I've tried several other spy cameras over the past year just for entertainment and I have to say the quality just doesn't match this Spy Pen Camera. The lightweight and stylish form is one of a kind and blows the competition because this one just is obviously better crafted and of higher quality.

This Spy Pen Camera even has a tiny dvr recorder that supports 16gb SD card I have and was easier than any other to use. I do not recommend you drop it but as a matter of fact this little gadget fell out of my child's hand and to my surprise did not break. That is obviously a plus I did not expect but can live with.has multiple functions

Another thing is after I use the video camcorder, I playback the footage on my laptop and since I love to use it for still images, the images are all very crisp and clear plus the video is even better with the quality in picture and sound.

I am glad I set eyes on this Spy pen camera and appreciate the fact that it has way...

I always wanted to own a spy pen from watching James Bond movies
I always wanted to own a spy pen from watching James Bond movies. So I was so excited when I receive mine in the post. Pen is well made, instruction manual was easy to follow and easy to operate. The playback quality of this spy pen is awesome considering the size.

But I have to give it a 3 Star as it fail to have adequate warning to use at own risk. I had my spy pen turn on and went to work. My partner found my new pen while cleaning. It didn't take her long to figure out it was a spy pen. Now I'm accused of having trust issues and spying on her. Needless to say I have been sleeping on the couch for the
past few nights!

PS. Now even the dog is ignoring me too!

1. Disappointed!
Compared to a similar product that I had a few years ago this unit doesn't have the functions available and the one's it has don't seem to work...cannot download anything to even see if it works becuz computer doesn't recognize it...even with the disc and drivers downloaded! Wouldn't recommend to anyone! Can't contact seller as no information on package or bill of sale available!

2. mini hidden camera.
This item took forever to arrive. Instructions where crap and had to go on YouTube to figure out how to properly use it. I love youtube for instructions. The clips that attaches to back of camera. They were OK to attach but when you try to detach, the nibs just breaks off. This happened to each one so now I have to use very small rubber bands to attach it to the clip holders. The camera view is narrow like a 50mm so you will have to stand back a little if you are going to video tape a person or you may be recording their waist. Not going to return brackets because it may take forever to have them replaced. If it wasn't for the brackets, I would give a higher score.

Okay, so, as advertised, this package came complete, down to two little mounting screws for the camera.

Camera (mounted to a small stand) with color video and single mic also includes mounting screws, a 9vdc power adapter and a 9v battery adapter.

Receiver includes video out, mono out, tuning knob, antenna, and 9v power adaptor.

Also included is a double male RCA cable to connect receiver to vcr or TV.

I also got a generic 9v battery to test everything out. I set everything up and connected the receiver to a small portable display. I eventually got sound, but no picture. My initial setup was with the 9v battery, and I think it may have been a bit underpowered as I got no video. But once I switched to the power adaptor, the video popped right on.

Nice system. The only bad thing is this camera's battery only lasts one day. The range is good, but not that far as I thought. The quality is good, but the signal often goes crazy. I would buy it.

My two sons are archers in the Junior Olympic Archery Development program. I purchased this monocular to allow me to see the target grouping of the arrows down range. Typically, the distance is about 80 feet. This monocular gives me a clear view from that distance and enables me to score each end.

The focuser is operated with two fingers and is very accurate. It makes it easy to share with others and quicky refocus.

Almost perfect...
A meter readers dream, I LOVE this scope. I use it to read meters from a distance several hundred times a day, 5 days a week. It fits nicely in my shirt pocket, the focus is ETREAMLY FAST! The fact that the scope rests in the palm of your hands steadies the finger shake picked up from barrel scopes. The offset in the optics allows you to invert the scope to give you an extra inch of height when looking over fences, as well as the fact the scope is operated entirely from one hand, which is priceless when standing on your tippy toes to see over something, or are hanging from a wall you've gotta look over. There is only one draw back I have with this thing. It's only available in 8x, if it were a 10x32 it would be absolutely perfect. Although the optics can be easily changed out from most cheap 10x25 binos, but if you do the swap, the objective must be moved forward about 5mm for proper focus.

1. They Work - Larger In Size Than Expected
The glasses were delivered quickly, before expected. They have a case, which is nice and of decent quality. The glasses look better than what is pictured here, in that they look more polished and look of better quality. The product that was delivered to me is slightly different than the one pictured, as well. Mine are a gold frame and the lenses are very dark. In order for the glasses to function, the manufacturer designed them to be very flat... no bend to them around your face. The lenses are also very flat. In the pictures online, they appear to have a curve to them, which they do not. These glasses look a little odd since they are so flat across, but in a real-life scenario, it may not be noticed. The thing that WILL get noticed is "the guy over there with the dark glasses on...". As far as performance, they work, and work pretty well. If you want to watch someone specific, you can do so without them knowing, and since you are facing away from them, they won't notice...

1. Spy word should've been taken off from ad title
The camera works OK as a motion sensor camera, it's small enough to be hidden in day time, ah but the glowing Infra Red led lights beat the whole purpose of the hidden camera (not hidden anymore)
The manual it's in well explained English, simple and detailed with some graphics to help you understand better the functionality of the device,
also what the other guy said about the 5 seconds trigger video it's TRUE, the manual states 2-3 seconds (Lie) it's actually 5-6 seconds after the cam has been triggered to record something
plus the glowing led lights, let me put it this way.
You open the door,
Motion sensor detects you right away(in half second IR led lights turn on) that doesn't mean the cam is recording.
you have now 4 seconds to close the door and the camera would record just an empty room for the time you set the camera to record

Video Quality is good
FPS are smooth
Audio/Mic is good and clear
Trigger...

2. Does the Job
It took some time to find exactly what I needed and fortunately this little gadget fit the bill precisely.

It works exactly as described. It's early days yet - but it seems to be robust and well made to last a long time.

The short videos it creates are time stamped - which is what I was looking for - and can view something in absolute darkness.
The videos are a bit over exposed as they need to be to catch the tiniest of light sources. I don't intend to do anything
except keep track of animal movements at night - so the videos are just fine for me.

The instructions are clear. But, they tend to assume that the reader is completely aware of what they are referring to.
In order to set the time and date stamp (which works very well) you need to create a small .txt file and transfer it into
the folder of the camera.

For those confused by this - on a Windows machine (sorry can't speak to what is needed on Macs, . .) in the...

Somewhat impressed
I bought this camera to put into my car and everything works fine except the motion activation takes too long to activate. If you walk at a normal pace past my car then the activation is too slow to catch the motion. If you linger for more than 5 seconds, only then will it will catch the motion. I have an internal motion activation system in my house that senses motion instantly even in the dark. I guess I am used to INSTANT motion detection and this camera has 5 SECOND DELAYED motion detection. I was able to set the date very easily, the battery does last for over 50hrs continuous before recharging as promised and it does film in complete darkness.

1. Hidden Camera Termometer DR
I bought this because it can be left on standby for up to twenty days on a full battery charge. I haven't found another hidden camera that can do that. I use it at the ranch where we only spend two nights a week. If anyone breaks in when we're not there, this camera will identify them.

Its very basic, works well and the video quality is good. There is a little button on the back to turn it on and off. It would be better if the button were on the side, though. When it's turned on, any movement activates recording. It will record for as long as there is movement or stop two minuets after the movement stops. I wish is stopped recording thirty seconds after the movement to save memory. Since this camera is motion activated it works best in a place where there should be no movement. For example if you place it in a window the swaying trees could activate it and fill the memory.

I haven't left it for the full twenty days yet but every time we return it is still...

2. Horribble instructions.
I ordered 2 units;
When I got the boxes today I plugged the first one into my computer to load the battery and I found about 500mb of videoclips of (chinese?) people, very weird.
I deleted those and was going to make no fuss about it.
Then I found the button on the particiliar unit was all crushed in, so I contacted the company and asked for an RMA to return, they responded quick.

The paper with instructions is horrible, the English looks like a direct internet translation from the language on the other side (chinese?) I asked for a manual in English so I can make sense out of it, otherwise I am going to have to sent the other one back too.

There is a horrible "beeeeeep" in the recordings.

this item does work. the instructions are kind of hard to understand. i will rephrase them for u a bit. to turn on- press A for 3 seconds, you will get a long red light (its now in stand-by mode). to activate camera to record constantly: press B for 3 seconds, red light will flash 2 times then go off (now its recording). to stop recording: press B once and quickly press A while the light is flashing(the light will flash 2 times when pressing B and 4 times when pressing A). ((pressing A saves the file and stops recording)). To turn off: press A for 3 seconds. you can now plug into computer and go to (computer tab under start button) to view recording. and now for motion detect recording. to turn on- press A for 3 seconds, you will get a long red light (its now in stand-by mode). press A (red light flashes 6 times) now its in motion detect mode. press B to stop the motion detection (red light flash 6 times) then press A (red light flash 4 times then u get a long red light) stand by...

I bought ths item on Amazon and thought it was a nice item for the price. I also have a BMW so it easier to hide. I opened up the box and realized there is no SD card, so make sure you purchase one. The intructions are a bit hard to understand and are small in size. I think that Chinese is the original language and translated into English. I figured how to get it to work and it is overall a pretty cool gadget for the cheap price. Could not get the time set and some other minor stuff. This item is more novelty that professional quality, but I am having fun with it.

2. Inoperable
I was really looking forward to playing with this neat little gadget and was very disappointed to find that it did not work. I charged it with the supplied usb cable plugged into my laptop, I tried a different cable, I tried a wall charger...nothing. Lights flashed when I plugged it in but after it charged overnight I was unable to get it to turn on...tried reset many times, no good. Shipped it back and ordered another one, hopefully I don't get a lemon this time.

This seems the same device I bought directly by a Chinese site. The previous review describes the same experience I had with it.

Before the purchase, I asked a lot of detailed information by email and by live chat, but the "support service" replied with the same information that anybody can read in the on-line advertisement (that is very unaccurate).

However I bought it because of its very discounted price. When I have received it, I have realized something strange, it looked like an imitation of another old device I still have got. I have tested it and its standby time is not more than 24 hours, that means its working time is not more than 12 hours, that is NOTHING for a serious use.

Moreover the battery charger doesn't work properly in fact I had to charge its batteries by another old battery charger.

Now I am looking for the same old device I still have got, but how to understand which (Chinese) device is good amid a jungle of its...

1. Slight Problem, No Major Issues
I purchased this device and have tested it for a couple weeks. The device works as advertised. The issue I ran into was that there was a piece of plastic in the usb cable that was provided on the large end, that caused the device not to charge. I had to pick it out with a toothpick. I have not had any problems with it only working for 1.5 days. I have used only 1 SIM card and have had it running and in standby for more than 4 days at a time. From the previous review the idividual states that the device is fully charged when he inserts the SIM and sees the red light flash, this only indicates that the device is now active, the SIM card completes the circuit for the device to work. When you plug the charger in you will see both the red and green lights lit, when the green light goes out the device is fully charged. The directions that come with the device are a little cryptic so I will explain how it works.

Works sorta
Very easy to set it up and it does work sorta. Mine will not go into standby for nothing. I can call it and it does call me back. Big bummer it won't go into standby. Works great beside that. Nothing to setting it up at all. Very easy took me 5 minutes.

This is a pretty cool thing. If you show it to your friends, they will imidiatley be impressed and want one. If you really like techy things, this is definitely not the product for you. I used att service, and this watch only worked outside with no trees around. And, unless you live in china, you cant use it's Internet services. And there's no wifi integration, so you can't use the watch that way. The watch was pretty cool, until the band of it started breaking. It is a very rubbery and soft band, so it rips easily. You won't find one this tiny for this price with this quality
I've bought 3 or 4 cameras of this type for use at work. I've bought 2 different helmet cameras that worked kind of okay, but this one knocks it out of the park. The case is built like a tank, it's very easy to use. The voice activated function is great. I'm using an 8gb chip in mine, so I can't talk about the quality problems I've heard about when using the 2gig chip that ships. I've used it the past couple days testing it by using the clip mount to clip it under my rear view mirror facing forward and I can tell you there are no police dashboard cameras that can beat the video. The camera focuses perfectly through the windshield and the angle of view is wide enough to capture a perfect scene. Low light is great, used it at a shooting range yesterday and once I figured out the proper placement the videos were great even in reduced lighting. If you need a tiny camera with great quality this is the one. My one complaint was when I installed the driver disk I began getting com errors...

1. Mixed Feelings
At first I was very excited, I wanted the product like many others for airborne operations. I specifically intended to put it on my son's kite and on a weather balloon (after I get a GPS receiver). The camera is very small on weighs next to nothing, 15 grams.

It comes in a very nice tin. It was packaged very well and I received it in a very timely fashion. However, when I opened the instructions included in the cd I actually laughed out loud. The instructions are so ridiculous that it frustrated me for several hours. I charged the little device overnight (it only needs a few hours but I was going to bed). Because the instructions suck I thought it was not functioning. The camera would turn on and appear to go through the different modes and even worked as a webcam. But I could not seem to get it to function as a video recorder as advertised. What I found out through trial and error was that my Micro SD card needed to be reformatted. For some reason it did not want...

2. Decent little semi-disposable camera for the price
I too bought this little camera to do kite aerial video. It's very small, rivaling those keyfob cameras, and incredibly light. At $20 or less, it's worth a try.

The downside for me is the video quality. There may be more than one version of electronics for this camera, since other reviews mention smooth video. This is not too uncommon. Search on 808 keychain cameras to get an idea. My video is very jumpy, with a lot of slow rolling shutter distortions. This is with a class 6, 16GB micro SDHC card. Color balance tends to shift all over the place too, even in bright sunlight. I suspect that like some others, this camera really has a lower resolution sensor and upconverts the video to 1280x960. Either the sensor itself is slow, or the cpu can't keep up with the upconversion. Do not try to watch the videos over USB. Transfer the file first and then view if possible. The USB interface cannot keep up with the video stream. It uses MJPEG (motion jpeg) storage so the HD video files...

The operation is dead simple (regardless of lack luster instructions.)
While it came with a CD, the CD only has instructions as a PDF and an update time bat file. I have not checked the time stamp since I ran it though.

It does have the time stamp in the lower right corner. I'm not super fond of that and havn't figured out how to shut it off, but, if I'm filming creative stuff, I'll crop it out anyhow. :)

This works perfectly on every tv in my house. It took me a bit to figure out how to use it properly to get it to sync, but after that everything appears to be in order. Is a camera pen cool? Definitely. Can you have fun with *this* camera pen? Possibly.

As advertised, the Defender ST101 Covert Pinhole Color Security Camera Pen (with 4 GB USB Memory) takes still pictures and video. Provided your lighting is adequate, your pictures will be adequate, too. Nothing glorious, but they'll do the job. The video is choppy, but being able to clip the pen to your pocket and stroll around with the camera running is easier than holding your cell phone and walking around (or maybe it's just me that has that problem). Sound, of course, would have to be added in post-production.

You can surreptitiously photograph people/things, though concealing the amber/blue light may be an issue. I've taken random candid shots and pictures of notes on a whiteboard and they came out "good enough." Nothing I couldn't have done (better) with a cell phone, but the USB was a handier option than Bluetooth or cable syncing with my computer. That said, I suspect...

2. Fun and Easy To Use, Not Practical for Covert Use
I don't own a cell phone, so this pen has been a fun way for me to always have a camera on hand. It's very easy to use, requiring only the information in the little booklet that comes with it. I would have given it three stars except that it doesn't work very well as a pen. The ink flow is too unreliable to be worth the trouble of trying to use it.

I've found the quality of the photos and video to be pretty decent if the lighting is good and the pen is held level while photographing. Any angling of the pen, close-ups, or low light results in blurry and/or useless photos, which means it wouldn't be too helpful for a real spy. Also, you have to hold the pen vertically at eye level to be sure that what you're seeing is roughly what you're photographing. This would make you look mighty suspicious if you were trying to be secretive.

One thing I've found inconvenient is that you have to unscrew the two halves of the pen to switch back and forth between video and still...

A perfect camera to record things you shouldn't!
The only reason you are going to want to buy this pen/camera is to record things you shouldn't, whether it be spying on your kids or other unsuspecting people, or using it for your own private use. The picture is surprisingly clear, and the date and time stamp are easy to set (open the files on your computer and click "WriteTime.")

Their are few problems with the pen however. One, there is no sound. And two, there will always be a blue light on when the camera is filming. So, your pen will be discovered if you aren't careful where you put it.

This is a nifty camera you can put to good use or just have a lot of fun with. Oh, you can also write with it.

I tested the possibility of using my BlackBerry 8310 Curve as my primary mp3 player with an inexpensive Kingston 2GB microSD card. I ran into several issues in the process, but learned how to overcome them.

The Curve limits the file size transfers when they are sent to the phone's storage. This protects the phone from running out of memory. When I received this amazingly small 8 GB Micro SDHC card, I could not believe it! It is so tiny! I am using it for my 8 GB Sansa Fuze to extend the capacity to 16 GB and it works great. I put all of my videos on it and there is no trouble at all. When I plug my Sansa Fuze in with the Micro SDHC in it, it shows up as the external memory. You can choose if you want your items on the internal memory or the external memory. I advise you if you have a regular Micro SD card slot not a Micro SDHC slot, this card will not work! If you have a regular Micro SD slot, you can only put in a 2 GB card or less. With a Micro SDHC slot, you can put in any regular or HC Micro SD card. Overall, this card works excellent to expand memory in any Micro SDHC compatible device.

I bought this micro card for my AT&T 8925 Tilt (HTC TYTN) phone and it works perfectly. I took a chance that the phone would support that size and it does (the AT&T specs list the max capicity as 2GB). I recommend also purchasing an adapter so you can use it as an SD card if you have a digital camera that takes that format. It would have been nice to have that as a package deal as opposed to giving the thumb drive adapter - but it's still a deal even with the few extra dollars for the adapter. If you have the Tilt and want plenty of storage space go ahead and buy this card.

Pretty Cool
I am happy to report that this cam is well made and works great. I was also impressed that it cost so little. It is well worth the money and could definitely come in handy. The instructions are horrible, but the functions are not hard to figure out. You will need to have a micro-sd card before it will work; otherwise, you can just use it as a web cam until you get a card. Works great as a web cam as well I must say.

More than worth its weight in anything you'd care to name -- FOR THE RIGHT APPLICATIONS
We use this as a supplement to a standard baby monitor. It allows us to see *what* the little guy is doing, without peeking in the door, which will guarantee that if he's awake he *will* see us, and that's it, even if he'd otherwise go back to sleep on his own.

Now for function. This is extremely easy to set up, and doesn't seem to have any interference from our wifi N home network. We use the wall-wart power supply, so I cannot comment on battery life. We're only transmitting about 10 feet, through the front and back walls of a closet.

The picture quality is pretty good -- not excellent, but pretty good -- *IF* the light levels are high enough, that is.

I bought this clock based on the positive reviews, here are my 2 cents on it:

Pros:
- Due to the cheap look of it and the fact that the clock never worked once, it sure is not getting moved or stolen.

- Small compartment, not sure you can fit anything in there, that is worth securing.

I purchased 2 of these watch phones about a month ago, one pink for my wife (her favorite coller), a black one for myself. OK, for the latest update, so I filed the temporary restraining order and we had court today for the final hearing/injunction. I took the camera into court & the judge allowed the video recording into evidence and had me play the recording right there in the courtroom. The audio was fantastic. They were all impressed that it was a stand alone device. I set it up on the table that I was sitting at for the Petitioner and everyone was able to hear everything even though the judge was about 15 feet away sitting high up on the bench and the court reporter was sitting next to him. The video was too small of course for them to see from that far but they didn't need to see it anyway, all they had to do was listen to the verbal violence that was going on. Even the defendant could hear it across the room at his table.

After listening to the recording, the judge granted me the final injuntion. I am so impressed with this device and that the legal system here in Florida allows this as...

Works for me.
I use this to monitor my home while at work. I turn on the recording when I leave the house and off when I return. The unit in plugged into the AC charger all the time and since I have the spy camera set to loop record there is no need to delete files from the device ever.

Note: I was fooled into thinking this was HD or High Definition. I see a lot of these mini spy cameras claiming to be HD or "High Definition" but please know that they are promoting the PHOTO Resolution NOT the Video Resolution, so be warned! The VIDEO Resolution of this camera is NTSC DV 720 x 480p. So that makes this camera's resolution DV 480p NOT HD 720p. If you want these to record properly, you need to get an SD card that is at least 8 - 16 Gigabytes and is rated at CLASS(6)or(10), do not use a CLASS(4) it will choke. Also, this will not work without an SD card inserted and it MUST BE FORMATTED FIRST. FORGET THE DIRECTIONS! FORMAT and insert a CLASS(10) SD card, notice there are 3 buttons on the unit, one side has only one button, the other has two. Lets call the side with two, the "Left" Side. On the left side (two buttons) press and hold in, the button closest to the USB connector. The unit will power on and vibrate. Wait 10 - 15 seconds (very important) before you press any...

Its a cool little toy, just gotta figure out how to use it, since instuctions were written by Chinese guy with no command of writing in English...
So far, to change time and date: Plug into Computer, Open Files, right click (Notepad) folder [TAG text document 1k], Open With (WordPad), change the time and date to the right time and date (plus about 1 min depending on how slow you are) on Command bar, click (File), click (Save), unplug!!! 1. Iphone watch
I just got my phone watch and it has alot of good things but the thing I don't like about it is that you need a a pen or something smaller to go to the next screen. Other then that the phone works fine. It comes with a bluetooth head set so if u don't want to look like an FBI angency you can used the bluetooth.

2. What time is it ?
It's time to buy this awesome gadget. It does everything and works great. I have taken pictures and movies with it that turned out great. I also used the flashlight on it(. Awesome ) the sound recorder is great. The music player is great. I am in awe of this piece of awesomeness . It arrived with all the accessories . However you will need to get a SIM card and start service with a phone company of your choice. Since I don't talk much I just went with a pay as you go type of service. I get so many compliments about this watch and after I tell people what all it does they freak out and then I tell them it is under $100.00 they gasp in disbelief. Make sure you read the instructions thoroughly and I'm sure you will be happy.

The Watch phone is a good Idea
I bought this item and when I went to have it set up i found that my unlocked phone is not unlocked at all, I now can't have my choice of carriers but stuck with a couple local ones.

Pretty amazing clear photos and video. Sound quality is also surprisingly clear. Mention is made of using it as a web camera, but no link to software drivers. A fun little toy, once you figure out the many video and photo settings and control.

Four stars because description shows a micro SD card, but none is included. They aren't expensive but you have to buy one to fully use the camera.

The LED light can be a little bright and defeats the purpose of a clandestine camera. Lighters generally do not blink! Do not carry it through airport security; likely it will be taken!

I was skeptical about a covert lighter with a cheqp price, but I must say its not bad at all. It takes a little bit to figure out how to work it, but this thing came in handy. I recorded my sons friend stealing our change. We never new why the change bin was never getting full, now we know. Good product, just don't forget to buy a mini flash drive. it requires one.

Very cool tool
I ran across this item by accident and it is worth getting. It is a still camera, a video camera, a voice camera and a flash memory device. And it can be left in sleep mode, to come on when it hears a noise. And it is only $25. (I got mine a few weeks ago and it was only $16, not sure why the price has gone up.) And the "cool" thing about it is it looks exactly like a `Bic' lighter! A word of warning though, this isn't a "quality" camera but it is good for gathering any sort of quick "information" and the sound pick up is very good. It will pick up a TV program from across the room perfectly clear. But in hand held mode it is a bit tricky to hold it perfectly still. Better to sit it down on a surface when pressing the "still shot" camera mode. No software, no cables, just plug it into the USB on your computer and there are your pictures or video! You do have to get a "micro" SD card to go with it, but they aren't very expensive and it then functions as a regular "Flash Memory"...
